Personal StatementDriven and dedicated supply chain and customer account manager with over 30 years’ industry experience. Educated to degree level with a 2:1 BA in Business Studies with Honours, level 6 MCIPS qualified with Chartered status and experienced to senior management level. My skills include being proactive, meticulous and highly motivated, as well as working to deadlines and being excellent at developing and implementing short, medium and long-term strategies.My professional persona gives me confidence to engage with both internal and external stakeholders of the business, being able to work both at a strategic and operational level to achieve key performance indicators in order to drive the business forward. I have a very analytical mind and thrive on using this skill to critically appraise processes and procedures, implementing improvements that will drive efficiencies forward and therefore improve profit margins and company effectiveness and ultimately competitiveness. As well as spending 8 years delivering secondary education in the public sector, previous work history has placed me in the private, Business to Business sector focussing on FMCG and manufacturing, from product development, warehouse logistics and procurement roles through to production planning and customer service. I take pride in developing and leading excellent teams who can be used as the benchmark for excellence throughout an organisation.
