ABOUT KATRIN HARRY

Katrin Harry (Jeh’Jeh’Ganak) is originally from Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1992. In 1997, she formed her first business with KWAST-enayu (L. Maynard Harry) who is from the Tla\'amin Nation in British Columbia. Katrin has decades of project and event management experience which led her to the creation of ABM, a community of decision-makers who come together to create opportunities for business and collaborations for a livable planet.Indigenous people are at the core of the values held by ABM. Collectively, ABM Members engage in a perpetual process of learning and relationship-building that creates strong partnerships, peer mentorship, business opportunities, personal growth, friendships, and community. As the German mother of a strong 23-year-old Indigenous woman, much of Katrin’s leadership approach is informed by the absolute indigeneity of the young people in her family. Katrin values genuine friendship as one of the strongest drivers of positive change. As a result, ABM is a dynamic and complex network of individuals who have personal investment in the well-being of one another. ABM Members uphold their business community as a stronghold for honest and uncensored dialogue about the complex dynamics of business, money, and their effects on human relationships, culture, and the planet.Katrin\'s role is to support the cohesion and ongoing engagement of ABM Members through tools that include coaching to develop cultural competence, matchmaking technology to enable meaningful connections between value-aligned decision-makers, and community conferences and dialogue forums.
