ABOUT KATRIN HAGEN

I started working in project management already during my master studies. First in the PMO, later as a project manager, I supported and managed various projects, most of which had an IT focus. I used to think that this way I could get to know different companies and departments in order to better decide what I actually wanted to do. In the meantime, I know that project management is what I am best at and what I want to do in the future. I am very good at organizing, structuring and coordinating, and at the same time I also think outside the box and I am creative. This is most rewarding when the team harmonizes and the team members can each contribute their own strengths. Motivating people, listening to them and talking to them, further developing them - these are aspects of my work that give me energy.On a personal level, my heart belongs to animals, sports and travel. Quite frankly, IT will never be my subject of heart, despite exciting challenges and projects I\'m working on. I therefore try to give my personal interests a place in my professional life, for example by organizing social challenges or sports events. This is my kind of work-life balance. And yes, I\'m also a fan of workation and sabbatical options to recharge my batteries and broaden my horizons. If money were no object, you would surely find me in a Spanish shelter for most of the week, working with dogs and building things, educating children to do better with their pets and doing project management as a part-time job;)
