Hey - I am Katrin. Thanks for having a look at my profile! Happy to connect. Currently I am an Associate at Boston Consulting Group in Munich. Previously I was working as a Knowledge Analyst in the global Enterprise Agility team BCG Boston. Being a thought partner for consulting teams and developer for new Intellectual Property in the topic, I immerse myself in agile best practices, including BCG\'s holistic operating model revamp covering org structure, governance, processes, culture and people practices. I came to the USA as an international student studying International Management at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I spent my first two years in Germany at the ESB Business School at Reutlingen University as part of a highly competitive Double Degree program, which allows me to have practical learning and working experience both in the United States and Germany through two, full-time, 6-month Co-op opportunities. My professional journey began in 2015 when I decided to gain some work experience, develop my interpersonal skills, and get general knowledge about various departments within a corporate bank setting through an apprenticeship as a bank officer. I successfully completed this position in 2018, and discovered an interest in escaping my comfort zone, working with people from different backgrounds, and supporting the education system. I chose to work and live for 6 months in a Hungarian School through the international voluntary service of the German UNESCO Commission. It was there that I increased my societal and political understanding. Upon beginning college in 2018 I quickly found myself, among other things, immersed in ESB Student Consulting e.V, which allowed me to collaborate on projects for real clients and manage 92 members during my time on the Board. I also tutored and mentored finance students, as well as participated in volunteer work at a theatre. I continued my professional journey through four very different internships (Audit at Genossenschaftsverband e.V, Business Development and Marketing at ZF Friedrichshafen, Strategy and Management Consulting at ZEB, Knowledge Analyst at BCG), resulting in my increased experience with working independently on a variety of projects, managing concurrent requests, and prioritizing responsibilities. All of these experiences have made me who I am today. My goal is always to go beyond the know, develop personally with each life stage, understand economic correlations, and to influence the society positively.
