I began working for RISE4Disability on a freelance basis again in September 2020 until coming on board as an employee in October 2022.I rejoined RISE at a time of uncertainty for the events industry due to the pandemic. As a team we all had to adapt, learn new skills and take on the challenge of delivering events virtually. This included- Creation of virtual stand spaces using iStaging software- Hosting and assisting in group virtual sessions on Zoom and Airmeet- Liaising with clients and partners to produce content needed.Throughout my time working on in-person, virtual and hybrid events with RISE I have taken on a range of responsibilities- Branding and graphic identity for RISE events and services- Design of digital and printed materials including magazine adverts, digital adverts, flyers, posters banners, posters, show guide booklets and video editing- Social media content creation and channel management- Email campaigns- Website content management and visual design using a content management system- Working with external clients on behalf of RISE to offer marketing and design services on a consultation basis- Time management to keep on top of my work and meet deadlines- Liaising with colleagues, exhibitors, clients, industry professionals and the general public.
