About Kathleen Oswald

I have a Master\'s in Exercise and Sport Science. I am currently earning my Ph.D. in Cognition and Instruction. I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Cognitive Performance Coach who has worked with various military units and athletes. I enjoy creating programs that involve cognitive-physio workouts, computer-based tasks, and other occupationally relevant tasks that challenge individuals to use one or multiple cognitive skills. As a long-time competitor in dog agility, I work to improve clients\' mental performance in various human-animal sports and occupations worldwide. From search & rescue teams to world-class dog-sport competitors, my goal is to help handlers develop cognitive skills and strategies that allow them and their four-legged teammates to reach peak performance when it counts. I coach agility online and in-person, including training sport-specific skills, developing team cohesion, and helping teams peak for national and international agility competitions. As a five-time member of Team USA and a former World Champion in agility, I can empathize with and help handlers strategize for the various psychological demands placed on teams in human-animal sports.I run ultra marathons, completing races at 50k, 50-mile, 100k, and 100 miler distances. I am also a nationally qualified powerlifter.
