Collaborate with faculty to integrate work-based learning in the following assigned schools & programs: Arts & Languages, Humanities, Math & Natural Sciences, Exercise Science, Dance, Health Education & Athletics, Social/Behavioral Sciences & Multicultural Studies, Honors, and STEM Center.• Teaches WORK 270 (Occupational Work Experience) and WORK 272 (General Work Experience) courses.• Serves on college and regional committees/workgroups: APIA Committee, Women Studies Advisory Committee, STEM-Core workgroup, Mesa’s Strong Workforce (SW) Committee, SW’s Budget and Allocation Workgroup, SW Regional Work-Based Learning Community of Practice, GP Guided Majors & Career Exploration Workgroup, GP Pathway Navigation Workgroup, etc. FACULTY & STUDENT ENGAGEMENT - Coordinated with faculty on 180+ activities such as Japanese American Internment Camp Speaker Event, Speed Interviewing for Business students, Pathways to Entrepreneurship Speaker Series, Behind-the-Scenes Tours @ local museums, Hidden Career Paths in Museums and Gender Bias in the Workplace employer panel. CAMPUS IMPACT - Coordinated annual campus-wide event, Majors @ Mesa Day, with 40 academic programs, 2 local transfer universities and 2 local high schools. FUNDRAISING - Secured $100K from Saddleback College as a NSF Alliance subgrantee award for STEM-Core program at Mesa College. Secured an additional $2K from Saddleback to fund travel to STEM Core National Convening. RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT - Co-wrote 8 proposals and awarded 7: 1)$1.5 million from U.S. Dept of Edu for AANAPISI grant to support APIA students; 2)$200K from NSF to support STEM student research and field experiences; 3)$7,500 for a Faculty Entrepreneurship Champion Mini-Grant fr. the CA Community College Chancellor’s Office; 3) college team acceptance to a 4-day Stanford\'s Life Design Studio training
