ABOUT KATJA BALKAN

With a Logistics Engineer degree from Višja prometna šola Maribor, I am passionate about the logistics and supply chain industry. I have developed this interest since childhood, thanks to my dad, who was a truck driver. I love learning about the whole process of transporting goods from one country to another, and how to offer the best service to customers. I have acquired valuable experience and skills in different aspects of the logistics industry, such as logistics planning, sales, customer service, and distribution logistics. I worked as a Logistics Planner in the automotive industry, where I ensured efficient and timely deliveries by collaborating with various departments and international customers. I then joined Ekol Logistics, a global logistics company, where I handled sales inquiries, contracts, and orders, and provided excellent customer support for eight months. Through these roles, I have demonstrated my logistic support, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities, as well as my fluency in English. I am an adventurous person who loves to explore new places, cultures, and languages. I recently moved to another country to pursue new opportunities and challenges in the logistics industry, and to expand my network and knowledge. I am also a food enthusiast who likes to cook and try new dishes with my family and friends. I am motivated by my curiosity, creativity, and desire to make a positive impact in the logistics industry.
