I am a founding member of Not Bad for a Girl, an all-female DJ collective that hosts events with all-female lineups, with an aim of equalising the music industry. I also founded our record label.I coordinate and negotiate with venue owners and agents, and promote using social media channels to grow our customer base.I also serve as the Technical Director for the collective. I developed our website using React and Contentful. I developed the website to replace our previous website, built using Squarespace. Used a TDD approach, built my own content models, used React Context, state for loading,SCSS and more.

During lockdown, two bootcamp courses led me to find a passion for web development. I quickly mastered various languages and frameworks, showing a natural aptitude for coding. In this time, I built websites from scratch and demonstrated my ability to learn fast and become proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript.Working within agile teams, I excel in delivering top-tier work to client deadlines, from releasing iterative improvements to replatforming entire websites. I’m passionate about using TDD to develop user-friendly, accessible and elegant ReactJS applications.
