Selected as one of four undergraduate researchers supporting an educational intervention to improve sexual well-being among female adolescent and young adult cancer survivors. I began by coding patient interviews to identify the biological, psychological, and social impacts of survivorship and highlight areas for the intervention to address. Building on these insights, I conduct provider interviews to gather feedback on the intervention’s effectiveness and then code both patient and provider interviews to evaluate overall impact, determine necessary modifications, and explore optimal timing and dissemination strategies. My responsibilities also include analyzing qualitative data to guide the development of targeted video-based interventions, creating intervention materials, and co-authoring a manuscript on our findings.To support this work, I maintain annual HIPAA privacy training and CITI certifications in biomedical research and research with vulnerable populations. Our team has presented at multiple conferences, including the 22nd Annual American Psychosocial Oncology Society (APOS) National Conference.
