In this role, I’m working as a Senior Communications Advisor with the AHS Communications team. Specifically, I support Medical Affairs, which includes physician communication.I also provide strategic communications support and issues management to the Virtual Health, Virtual Home Hospital, Engagement & Patient Experience, Physician Experience, Physician Recruitment, and Medical Leadership & Development portfolios. I collaborate with clients on a variety of communication deliverables to support projects and initiatives that support patients and clients of AHS. Our team also works closely with our Chief Medical Officer and supports communication to physicians.I also provide coverage for my communications director when she’s away, managing issues and media related to the portfolio, which also includes all things surgery.In this role I’m also part of the AHS communications on call rotation.

I\'ve also been fortunate to work with a diverse set of employers, but my passion has always been focusing on social issues.the issues that touch my heart the most, like education and healthcare.I have significant experience in internal and external communications, issues and crisis management, strategic communication, storytelling, stakeholder relations and media relations. While sometimes exhausting, issues management and crisis communications are my strengths; I love digging deep into complex scenarios.I also love storytelling through video, words and powerful photos or graphics.
