ABOUT KATIE LENNEN

As a Talent Development professional, I work with individuals and cohorts to increase self-awareness and take action on key behaviors that will help them achieve greater success in their professional and personal lives. My values are my compass. They are autonomy, peace, transparency, growth, impact, and creativity. I am an S DiSC Style, and my CliftonStrengths are Developer, Positivity, Belief, Connectedness, and Relator. Certifications • Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) • Everything DiSC® Certified Practitioner • Find Your Mojo Course Certified Facilitator • Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner My L&D roles: • Creating and managing employee development programs: I enjoy creating impactful content and providing opportunities for people to build relationships and grow in impactful ways. • As a facilitator: I strive to create an interactive group that shares ideas and I love seeing the “Ah-ha!” moments of others. • Providing individual career and critical skill development plans: I get to work one-on-one with employees to explore their roles and identify what’s working and what’s not. I challenge and support the employee to create a development plan specific to their needs. People I work with say: • I am positive. My daughters once bought me a sign from Hobby Lobby that says “Today is the perfect day for the perfect day” and I try to live that out. • I am hard-working. Doing any job is worth doing well. I strive to meet deadlines and exceed quality expectations. • I am organized. Leading projects has become one of my favorite work tasks, but it requires a lot of organization, planning, and thoughtfulness to pull them off successfully. About me personally: • I’m blessed with a big, blended family – a wonderful hubby, 2 great step-kids, 3 incredible daughters, and 2 dogs. • I read 62 books in 2022 and have been a bit sidetracked by Audible in 2023. • I love transformation and creating new things whether it’s art or a home project.
