ABOUT KATIE GIBSON
Katie is currently attending The Chicago School of Professional Psychology pursuing her PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis. She currently works with children and teens across a range of diagnoses at Monroe Carrel Jr. Children’s hospital at Vanderbilt and works with Vanderbilt’s Kennedy Center as a part of their TRIAD research program. Research interests include severe behavior, parent training, effective treatments for autism and co-occurring treatment resistant OCD, and non-linear contingency analysis and the constructional approach. Katie is currently completing her dissertation in applying the constructional approach in parent training practices teaching parents to use non-linear analysis with their children experiencing severe problem behavior.
