About Katie Boczek
With over three decades of diverse experience across energy, semiconductor, and transportation industries, I have built a career rooted in program management, project management, and design. My journey in these sectors has involved a wide range of responsibilities, including: Managing client programs with precision and excellence. Overseeing multi-discipline teams comprised of engineers, designers, procurement specialists, project assistants, project control experts, permitting, and safety professionals. Conducting weekly reviews of program and project performances to ensure seamless progress. Reviewing and approving all significant program and project deliverables. Facilitating PDRI and IPA FEL Toolbox reviews and preparation for IPA site reviews (clients awarded Best Site). Chairing weekly program and project meetings to foster collaboration and synergy. Crafting project proposals, progress study reports, program and project reports to communicate developments effectively. Presenting at Board meetings program and company quarterly and yearly results, and strategic plans. My career has also seen me lead various projects, including: Project Management, Design, and Estimation of municipal infrastructure design/build projects. Supervision of design and construction teams for the design and construction of California State and Canadian Provincial highways. Management of conceptual and final designs of water transmission lines, downstream oil refining, semiconductor cleanrooms and utilities, and roadway projects. Expertise in traffic staging/detour designs for seamless construction processes. Coordination of right-of-way and environmental issues. Designing sewer, stormwater, and water main facilities to enhance community infrastructure. Additionally, I co-founded Descartes Biometrics Inc, a US-based technology company dedicated to designing, developing, and marketing cutting-edge biometric authentication solutions for the mobile sector.
