About Katie Bloomer
I’m a Business Administration and Economics major and Division I lacrosse student-athlete at the University of California, Berkeley with a strong interest in pursuing a career in finance with a personal interest in sustainability. My experiences in both academics and athletics have shaped me into a driven, disciplined, and goal-oriented individual, and I am eager to leverage these skills in my future career. As a student-athlete, I have developed critical skills in leadership, teamwork, and time management, all of which have prepared me to thrive in high-pressure environments. Balancing a rigorous course load with the demands of being a Division I athlete has taught me how to manage competing priorities and excel under adversity.Academically, I am deeply committed to sustainability and actively seek to incorporate this passion into my studies. At Berkeley, I have explored the intersection of business and sustainability, focusing on how companies can drive positive environmental and social change through financial strategies. As President of Student-Athletes for the Environment (SAFE), I manage initiatives that promote sustainable practices within our athletic community.I am actively seeking to gain practical experiences and connect with professionals who share my passion for sustainability and finance! Please feel free to contact me at k•••••••@berkeley.edu
