About Katie Haab
For over 20 years I’ve led successful communications, strategy, and writing projects—for marketing firms, design studios, nonprofits, tech companies, or small to medium sized businesses. Multiple rebrandings, brand refreshes, complete culture reorganization, hundreds of events, change management, grassroots campaigns, launches, narrative design, IA, business development, product oversight, and systems rehauls: I’m into it, especially if it’s for a conscientious cause. Mission-driven projects drive my interests and the majority of my work. I am interested in strategically and energetically changing systems—even dismantling or rebuilding—to get closer to equitable and joyful outcomes, especially in the company of a community. Whether it\'s writing a verbal identity, a newsletter campaign, CEO ghostwriting, an HR audit, researched articles, branding strategy, business naming, general copywriting, thought leaderships pieces, information architecture, mission, vision, values, website content, overall messaging, and so much more—I can do a small project or find a longterm solution, based on my client\'s needs. Every year I read 100-200 books written by women and/or LGBTQIA+ writers, the majority of them non-white.
