About Katie Wendt
Currently and serving most often as an Animation Director at Augenblick Studios. Other positions I\'ve performed include Supervising Producer, writer, animator, storyboard/animatic artist, character designer, and background designer. Because Augenblick is a boutique studio, I\'ve had a chance to work on almost every part of the animation process, and I\'ve had the pleasure of working with the talented people at Augenblick for 15 years.In my spare time, I enjoy studying story structure and character development, along with working on my writing and personal artwork. I also enjoy meeting and offering advice to students and recent graduates. Love horror movies and all kinds of comics/graphic novels.

Associate Producer on PBS Kids \'City Island\'. Ensured that the vision of the showrunner was met and executed in the processes of writing, character and background design, VO recording, thumbnails and animatic, animation, and compositing. Attended writers room sessions, VO records, kickoff meetings for multiple phases of production, and performed QC checks while ensuring all deadlines were met.
