About Katie Wasson

I’m a Senior Capture Specialist with ICF, a global consulting and technology services provider. In this role I manage large capture and proposal pursuits. In addition to proposal management I also help lead and run our \'BD Champs\" training program for our technical staff. Before joining ICF, I worked for a Real Estate Company — Burmaster Real Estate Group –- and was lucky enough learn the ins and outs of Real Estate, Property Management and Construction Management. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other marketers. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite aspect of a proposal is working with the technical leads or business development team to understand our clients wants and needs and from there; create a winning proposal full of benefits, differentiators and win themes. As we go through that collaborative process, the ideas start to flow and that’s always the fun part. I have a BA from California State University Sacramento.
