About Katie Rubin
I’m an actor, writer, director, and communication coach with an MFA from UC Davis and 20+ years of professional performance experience. I created and toured six original solo shows—one becoming my full-time career for eight years—and have since performed in 40+ plays as a professional regional theater Actress, along with numerous commercials, industrials, and TV projects. I teach and lead long-running creative writing and solo show-making classes, coach executives at major global companies in public speaking and feedback delivery (through Bijingo and A.C.T.), and founded Sixth Line Studios, a professional regional theater company now producing its second full-scale production in March of 2026. In 2015, I gave a TEDX talk called \"Spirituality for the Spiritually Rebellious\" in Grass Valley, CA, and spirituality remains an important part of my daily life as it informs the personal and professional decisions I make.
