I support teaching and learning in an integrated early intervention classroom that serves young learners with and without developmental disabilities. ABOUT KATIE ROCHE
Dedicated educator with a strong foundation in child and family development and specialized experience supporting children with autism, with developmental disabilities, and without developmental disabilities. I hold a B.S. in Child and Family Development and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis Dual Degree at Teachers College, Columbia University. I bring hands-on experience implementing ABA (CABAS®) strategies to promote academic, behavioral, and social growth in children from early intervention through elementary school.My background includes supporting individualized education plans (IEPs), collecting and analyzing behavior data, and fostering inclusive learning environments that prioritize each child’s developmental needs. I’m passionate about using evidence-based practices to help children build verbal behavior development repertoires, self-management, and confidence. I’m committed to continuing work that bridges education, family support, and behavioral science.
