As director of the JSI Northern New England (NNE) group, including the Community Health Institute, Katie is responsible for overall functionality and performance of the 50+ NNE team and office operations; ensure alignment of JSI NNE activities with the JSI Health Services Division priorities and vision; provide supervision and support to staff in order to elevate and maintain staff morale and work quality.Also provides consultation to public health and health care organizations in the areas of early childhood, maternal and child health, needs assessments and strategic planning, process development and implementation, and coordination of a variety of types of tailored technical assistance. Clients include government agencies, public and private health care providers (hospitals, group practices, community health centers, family planning organizations, health maintenance organizations, community-based coalitions and social service agencies).
