ABOUT KATIE POPPLER
Dynamic researcher dedicated to advancing the field of social research. My experience includes qualitative research methodology, technical statistical training, social psychological research, team management, and communication. Motivated by social science and adolescent wellbeing, I have led several projects detailing discrimination towards adolescents. My training has given me the opportunity to summarize the experiences of teenagers nationwide, and communicate those experiences in both academic transcripts and in-person presentations. Aside from mentoring both undergraduates and graduate students in the lab, I have served as an advocate for graduate wellbeing more generally. My passion lies in supporting those around me and identifying resources that enrich the lives of others. Beyond strides in technical expertise, my experience has taught me how to push boundaries and think creatively. I am inspired by imagining new ways to improve the world around me. When I am not working, you can find me on the trails or finding a new café.
