ABOUT KATIE PAYNE

Katie Payne is a finance director at Bridgestone Americas. In this role, Katie manages the Business Services teams supporting the revenue cycle for the business operations in North America; including Credit and Collections and Billing/Dispute Management. Katie is responsible for strategic and cost savings initiatives for the organization.Previously she was an audit senior manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP practice located in Nashville, TN. She provided audit and accounting advisory services to clients primarily focused in the healthcare provider and consumer business and manufacturing industries. Katie has extensive experience serving large global manufacturing clients, this experience includes management and coordination of international audit teams. Katie\'s healthcare experience has been focused in the healthcare provider space, serving large, publicly traded hospital and surgical facility management companies. In addition to providing audit services, Katie has managed several accounting and advisory services projects with a special focus on internal controls strategy and alignment including gap assessments and implementation. Katie has experience leading clients through initial public offerings (IPOs) and other equity and debt transactions. Katie graduated from Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management with a Master of Accountancy degree in June of 2009. Katie is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Tennessee Society of CPAs (TSCPA).Katie serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee and has served as president of the Advisory Board for Club Blue since inception.
