I am a transportation lawyer at Lane Powell PC. I also handle coverage cases for the London Insurance Market. At Lane Powell, I am the Chair of the London Practice Team and the Transportation Team. I have authored a chapter on maritime personal injury in the Washington Torts and Personal Injury desk book published by LexisNexis. I have also published articles in the Tulane Maritime Law Journal, The International Journal of Shipping Law published by Lloyd\'s of London Press; The Journal of Transportation Law, Logistics and Policy; Shipping and Transport Lawyer International and the Seattle Business Magazine. I have also spoken at a number of conferences in the United States and in the U.K. on transportation issues.I serve as a member of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal Board of Advisory Editors and the Chair of the Publications Committee of the Association of Transportation Law Professionals (\"ATLP\"). I am a former ATLP President and currently serve on the Board of Directors. I am a Fellow of the American Bar Association and am the Vice Chair of the Marine Finance Committee.I have previously served on the Board of the American Heart Association and the Northwest Chamber Orchestra. Although we do not fly anymore, my husband and I are both licensed pilots. I am a published author of a novel, The Slip, available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
