My responsibilities as a Recruitment Campaign Manager include: • advising senior managers, vacancy holders and other business representatives in the design of post specifications and selection of the most appropriate and cost-effective advertising channels. • increasingly, working with business representatives to commission improved marketing literature and other features (film clips, podcasts etc) to enhance HSE’s recruitment website attraction; and • negotiating offers of employment balancing value for money against often critical business needs, and managing the appointment process (including eligibility and nationality checks) through to induction. • Contributing to annual recruitment campaign planning and budgeting utilising workforce planning intelligence to ensure achievable delivery timetables that meet business demands; • Planning and managing simultaneously a range of recruitment campaigns for singleton specialist roles and for larger campaigns, e.g for scientists or trainee regulatory inspector intakes; • Managing the recruitment appointment process for successful candidates offered employment ensuring compliance with legislative and Civil Service requirements; • Evaluating recruitment campaigns producing reports using media, website and other intelligence to inform future campaign strategies and achieve efficiencies; • Contributing to the team’s improvement and enhancement programme looking to modernise HSE’s recruitment process, improve candidate experience and enhance HSE’s recruitment footprint in relevant markets; • Assisting in the management of the team’s activities including resource planning, work distribution, quality control and progress reports; • Continuing to develop expert knowledge across all aspects of the resourcing function, and contributing to the development of others;
