ABOUT KATIE LABARRE

Katie is a planner\'s planner, specializing in digital marketing and martech. She has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, and 7 years of consulting experience in both the commercial and federal spaces. Recently, Katie started a new role as a Portfolio Manager/Business Partner at Arm, a British semiconductor and software design company in Cambridge, UK.Previously, Katie was a Principal Consultant for a boutique consulting firm. She led communications and marketing tasks on multiple $1b+ Federal grant program involving broadband access and innovation. Katie has also served as an IT Project Management consultant for one of the largest university systems in the U.S. She successfully concluded 2 enterprise migration projects, including an extensive content management system (CMS) migration and an M&A project combining more than 60 marketing professionals and 150+ systems, tools, and vendors into an existing marketing department. In her time with Deloitte, Katie was the Digital Communications Lead for a contract at a large federal health agency, overseeing the digital presence for a healthcare brand serving more than 9.6 million beneficiaries worldwide. She managed the team that executes the brand’s social media strategy, web strategy, and graphic and video design strategy. She also supervised the launch of 140 new websites for the Department of Defense in one of the agency\'s largest technology transformations. Her team\'s work, which was delivered in less than 10 months and won an award from Deloitte leadership, was briefed to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, who reports directly to the Secretary of Defense. She has also led the development of strategic communications for a different technology implementation at another large federal health agency, working hand-in-hand with SES-level stakeholders to develop editorial calendars, messaging, and relevant products for an audience of more than staff and contractors.Prior to Deloitte, Katie spent five years as a key member of regional leadership teams in the commercial real estate and hospitality sectors, leading marketing teams, developing and implementing digital and grassroots marketing strategies, and managing annual budgets, P & Ls, and revenue.
