About Katie Gordon

I am a mental health occupational therapist with over 15 years of experience engaging children, youth and their families in community-based mental health services. My clinical lens is informed by the belief that growth and development are nurtured through positive, attuned relationships and engagement in meaningful occupations. I have experience in providing direct services, supervision, and developing/managing programs. I am experienced in building collaborative relationships within the public sector of the SF Bay Area and many community based organizations. I have special expertise in early childhood mental health and the wraparound model of mental health care.

   I oversee the Alameda County branch of OTTP-NorCal, a nonprofit that provides community-based mental health services to youth (ages 2–25) and their families. The branch\'s multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists and Psychotherapists specialize in trauma-informed care rooted in relationships and in collaboration with natural supports and community partnerships. The team celebrates each individual’s unique strengths, interests, and values. OTTP-NorCal is committed to meeting individuals where they are—both literally and figuratively— and provides services across home, school, juvenile justice, and broader community settings.
