No matter what you are creating, be it a full-fledged festival, a ‘surprise and delight’ for a guest, or coordinating an interview with the New York Times, the success of an experience relies heavily on the work that is rarely seen. My background may seem unconventional to some. But if you look closely, my path is centered around making a moment feel special and seem effortless due to my expertise in strategy, influence, and systems creation. After 5 years as a theater artist and teacher, I transitioned to event and experiential management for a start- up where I advanced, produced, and recapped 90 large-scale wellness events. Most recently, I have focused on food and beverage experiences and multi-unit team management for a multi-billion dollar corporation in New York City. There, I opened and operated 5 concepts in 18 months. Delight to me is exceeding a desire or solving a challenge while creating an environment that champions curiosity, servant leadership, flexibility, inclusivity, and clear communication.
