About Katie Eichinger
As the newest member of Duo Oncology, I will be spearheading efforts to conduct IND-enabling pre-clinical studies for our novel nanomaterial used to treat pancreatic and other difficult to treat cancers. Previously, I investigated infant immune responses to respiratory syncytial virus and performed pre-clinical studies of an investigational maternal RSV vaccine candidate. I most recently worked as a Research Scientist trying to understand the role of the transcription factor, NFATC2, in the development of hypersensitivity reactions to asparaginase treatment in pediatric patients afflicted with acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
