Provide leadership and management of Cargill’s $100 million corporate philanthropy portfolio and team across North America and South America. Work collaboratively with executive leadership to set charitable budgets, develop and implement philanthropic strategy, support brand reputation and employee engagement. • Lead all aspects of The Cargill Foundation to close the opportunity gap for low-income youth in Cargill’s Minneapolis – Saint Paul Headquarters, including board member and investment committee engagement, oversight of an endowment, and development and evaluation of an annual $12 million grantmaking budget focused on education and nutrition outcomes. Lead, develop and facilitate strategic agendas for Cargill Foundation board meetings, ensuring strong governance and fiduciary oversight. Oversee all financial, administrative and programmatic operations of the Foundation and endowment to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. • Provide management for Cargill’s Global Grant Operations and Reporting team, ensuring strong processes, controls and appropriate due diligence in grantmaking. Oversee metrics evaluation and reporting of philanthropic outcomes to support development of Cargill’s annual impact report. • In partnership with Cargill Human Resources and nonprofit E4E Relief, co-developed Cargill’s first global Employee Disaster Relief Program to provide relief grants to employees impacted by catastrophic natural disasters or crisis.• Led Cargill’s Global Community Impact program to drive employee engagement in community impact through empowering over 500 Cargill Cares employee volunteer councils across 70 countries to activate in their local communities. Led the strategic development of Cargill’s new Community Impact Hub, Learning Lab and global “Together for Community” campaign to provide online training, marketing tools and strategic guidance to strengthen employee engagement, reputation management and community impact outcomes.
