About Katie Christopherson
Student-athlete at the University of Virginia, where I compete on the women\'s swim team that has captured five consecutive NCAA team championships. Training 20 hours a week year round, I have learned valuable skills such as time management, teamwork, and discipline. I am further involved in athletics through serving on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and participating in the Leadership Academy, where I help foster community, mentorship, and athlete development.I am pursuing a pre-med track while majoring in Economics, intending to pursue medicine after graduating. My goal is to become a doctor so that I can serve patients and follow my passion for science. As a member of the USA Swimming National Team, I have represented the United States in international competition.Beyond competition, I am passionate about mentorship and service. I have worked as a swim lesson instructor for the past 5 summers, helping young athletes build confidence, discipline, and water safety skills. I graduated from The Westminster Schools in Atlanta in 2024.
