ABOUT KATIE CHAKA PARKS
Katie is a Holocaust historian with a focus on women, gender, and sexuality in modern Germany during World War II and the Holocaust. Katie has also taught numerous courses and delivered keynote lectures on women\'s experiences during the Holocaust.As the Director of Education at The HC, she leads and creates educational programming for diverse audiences focused on the history of the Holocaust and its implications today. She was a subject matter expert on the content writing team for the multi-million dollar permanent exhibit re-design of The Zekelman Holocaust Center, where she incorporated her research on women\'s experiences.
