ABOUT KATIE CANTONE-HARDY

I am an Associate in Miller & Chevalier’s International Department, where I focus on compliance and internal investigations related to corruption, cartel exposure, workplace misconduct, and business and human rights. I regularly assist clients with investigations arising from allegations of misconduct, as well as compliance program design and implementation. With bilingual proficiency in Spanish, I have worked on multiple cross-border matters involving Latin America and focus my practice on the region. I thrive on connectedness, bringing this passion to interviews and fact-finding to uncover key insights that help organizations identify risks, strengthen compliance programs, and foster ethical and inclusive workplaces. I am also deeply committed to pro bono work, particularly on immigration matters, where I advocate for individuals navigating complex legal challenges. My commitment to bridging language barriers and expanding access to justice has shaped my career since its inception—from supporting immigrant survivors of domestic abuse as a legal intern at Virginia Poverty Law Center, to serving as a student-attorney in the Family Justice Litigation Clinic during law school, to representing clients in asylum proceedings today.
