About Katie Block

Katie Block is the Chief Financial Officer of Related Ross where she is responsible for the general management, financial oversight and planning and capital and expense management. Katie also shares responsibility for the overall operational leadership of the company in South Florida.Katie joined Related in 2013, where she built and lead a team responsible for the financial reporting, cash management and valuation modeling for Hudson Yards, the 28-acre megaproject on Manhattan\'s West Side. In her next role as Department Head of FP & A for the Related Companies, Katie led a team of 25 and was directly responsible for successfully integrating internal FP & A teams into one consolidated function responsible for financial planning, corporate budgeting and forecasting, cash management and performance management for all of the 40+ development and operating business units within the Related Companies.Katie began her career as a Certified Public Accountant with Ernst and Young and Controller at a Private Equity Hospitality Fund. Katie holds a degree from the University of Delaware, where she dual majored in Business with a concentration in Accounting and Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management.Katie serves as Treasurer and is on the Board of Directors of the Promise Fund of Florida, sits on the Executive Committee and Board of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches’, a member of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches\', partners with Big Sisters/Big Brothers NYC and is part of the executive leadership team that leads volunteer/charitable activities for the Related Ross office.
