ABOUT KATIE BERTSCH
I am currently a Psychology student at the University of South Carolina, with minors in Counselor Education and Business Administration. I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician, where I implement behavioral interventions and support clients in developing meaningful life skills. This role has strengthened my ability to apply evidence-based practices while building strong, supportive relationships with clients. This summer, I will be interning at Helpful Perspectives Counseling LLC, where I look forward to expanding my experience in a clinical setting and further developing my counseling skills.Following the completion of my undergraduate degree, I plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My long-term goal is to become a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and provide compassionate, effective support to individuals navigating mental health challenges.
