Katia K. Of Croatian and Canadian roots, Katia grew up in Dubrovnik, Croatia, where her early exposure to the hospitality industry sparked a lifelong commitment to people-focused industries.Katia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where she distinguished herself as a student leader—serving as President of RIT Toastmasters International, Women’s Senator in Student Government, and a Leadership Scholar, amongst other involvements. These formative experiences refined her ability to inspire teams, drive collaboration, and connect people to organizational goals.In a career which spans roles across Europe and the U.S, Katia has fine-tuned her human resources and talent development leadership expertise working for some of the world’s most prestigious hospitality establishments, including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Maybourne and Dorchester Collection\'s iconic Beverly Hills Hotel & Bungalows.
