About Kathy Taing
I’m an award-winning strategic storyteller with a deep passion for mental health and a commitment to creating content that drives meaningful change. With an MBA in Marketing and a B.A. in Psychology, I bring a unique combination of human-centered creativity and data-driven decision-making to every project. Once an aspiring therapist, I realized I could leverage my skillset and passion for mental health to catalyze change through systemic impact, storytelling, and content. This shift allowed me to leverage my psychology background and marketing expertise to craft resonant narratives that inspire change, educate, and connect with people on a larger scale. For the past decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of multimedia storytelling and mission-driven marketing, leading cross-functional teams both in-house and at agencies. My experience spans product marketing, video production, and content strategy, where I\'ve managed creative projects from concept to execution, always with a focus on measurable impact. Most notably (and most recently), I pitched a mental health content series to LeBron James\' production company and managed it from pre- to post-production. The content series has won Best Intersectional Initiative and Best Mental Health Initiative categories for The 2025 Halo Awards (by Engage for Good). I thrive on turning complex ideas into compelling stories that resonate with diverse audiences. Whether it’s a campaign, a video, or a brand narrative, I believe the best storytelling balances creativity with pragmatism. Needless to say, I’m excited to continue driving change in the mental health space, using my expertise to create memorable content that informs, engages, and inspires positive change.
