My involvement in Toastmasters is all about empowering other people. Over the past 28+ years, I\'ve served as an elected club officer and fulfilled more than 80 terms of office, many held concurrently. In July 2025 I began my 15th year as Vice President Education helping members navigate educational curriculum to meet their personal goals. I also served as an elected Secretary for 15 years maintaining minutes and records of Board and Club meetings, planning special events, and leading teams. My clubs earned the recognition of President\'s Distinguished status more than 30 times. I was appointed Coach to an ESL club in 2022 and appointed Area Director in 2023 to support five clubs in northern Wisconsin. In 2013 Toastmasters International appointed me as one of 92 global Chief Ambassadors to promote and introduce a new curriculum; I served in the role for 5 years. In addition to delivering presentations statewide, I trained and led two 10-person teams to assist with rollout and conducted more than 60 virtual support sessions. We exceeded launch goals by 28%.I\'m proud to earn the honor of \"Distinguished Toastmaster\"(DTM) seven times, most recently in April 2025.
