ABOUT KATHY OGILVIE

I am a productive scientific leader trained in integrated physiology and endocrinology experienced in reproductive, neuroendocrine, inflammatory, and metabolic systems with over 20 years of industry experience managing in vivo pharmacology, interdisciplinary project and non-clinical development teams from target identification to the clinic. I have broad experience across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and have successfully advanced small molecule, peptide, protein and antibody-based drug discovery projects. My responsibilities have spanned exploratory biology, pre-clinical pharmacology, non-clinical development and regulatory interactions. I have reduced experimental cycle times, improved data quality and increased efficiency in the the teams that I have managed. I have led efforts to select and validate targets and managed or made major contributions to 10 clinical candidates. In addition to a high level of organization, I have strong management/interpersonal skills, including mentoring scientists to promotions and graduate school.
