About Kathy Yang
I am a business development professional with an 18-year expertise in development - the process in which someone or something grows or changes and becomes more advanced. Developing business is as much about developing my relationships with the people who drive the business.My professional career started in Silicon Valley when email marketing was still the Wild Wild West and Facebook was still in the basement office in Palo Alto. Coming from an econ/math background and political hometown, seeing offices with open layouts and rooms full of servers (or the best Costco snacks) felt foreign and incredibly exciting. I wanted to learn everything and talk to everyone. I needed to figure out what this internet thing was all about. So, I did.I started with building an email CPC marketplace, then an affiliate network, ESP, lead generation paths, and a Facebook marketing agency. My diverse experiences connected me with the most fascinating and extraordinary people from digital marketing and technology as well as politics, law, religion, medicine, education, car racing and entertainment. These are the people to whom I owe my success.
