Driving project and team success through effective event services management and business development leadership is my passion. Whether that means leading the facilitation of successful tradeshow programs or creating a new, innovative approach to assisting the management team understand project results, solving the impossible is what I seek to do. I’m driven to deliver impactful team and project results.Over my nearly 30 years of progressive experience in event management and client services leadership, I’ve developed an approach to driving success through excellent operations support and leadership activities. My proven abilities for augmenting the quality and value of deliverables is valuable across industries because I understand what it takes to support a successful project. From making smart, informed strategic decisions through to contributing to cross-functional teams that excel, I’m well-suited to propel organizations to the next level of profitability and efficiency.Some examples of successful projects I’ve led include:• Helped build comprehensive strategic programs to guide key plans and direct the course of organizations.• Collaborated with diverse leaders to drive process improvements, practices, and activities.• In current role, actively supervise a team of Account Managers who are responsible for a portfolio of more than 35 trade shows and events per year. In-addition to managing a group 10 staff members, lead operational planning. The operational planning portfolio includes over 20 different clients and many events that I play a key role in organizing, preparing for, and delivering at.• As Director of Client Relations with CompuSystems, manage the relationship with Reed Expositions, the company’s largest client. During tenure as National Account Manager, took responsibility for the annual management of 7 - 10 tradeshows.• As Manager of Event Services, supervised a team of account managers responsible for a portfolio of more than 100 events.• Successfully led the development and implementation of account management training programs.• As Office Manager with AF Services, effectuated the interviewing of job candidates, coordinated employee training and scheduled bookings for this large Chicago-area security company.• Excellent project collaborator and on the job leader.I’m constantly in-search of new and more complex challenges.
