   Experience Works is a national, nonprofit company, that has been in operation for forty years. We strive to help low-income older people get training and find full-time jobs. Based on employment interests and goals, participants are assigned part-time positions (20 hours weekly) to qualified nonprofit organizations or government agencies, where they gain hands-on experience while providing community services. Participants receive training, experience, and supervision from their community service assignment; Experience Works pays training wages and benefits. Eligibility includes persons who are unemployed, have low-income, needing additional skills to improve poor employment prospects, 55 years and older who are [here] residents of Iowa and eligible/wanting to MY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Enter data on participants of SCSEP program [Senior Community Service Education Program] such as: reviews, ratings, comments, case notes, employment outcomes, training outcomes. Schedule appointments and training with participants. Evaluate the candidate to see if our program fits their needs. Place them at a training site/host agency. Work with non-profits (501c3\'s) and encourage them to become host agencies(H.A.). Enlist and monitor H.A.\'s. Enter a I.E.P.(Individual Employment Plan) for new participants. Work with participants with Technimedia. Train participants. Make myself available to participants and Host Agency supervisors when needed. Do regular office duties.
