Being an Executive Assistant can be challenging, rewarding, frustrating and ever changing. I get satisfaction from completing a project/task and seeing how a job well done makes things better for the people in my office. I like a challenge and I also like having things well organized so that things run as smoothly as possible. There are a number of times that something unusual presents itself. I find that thinking through the solutions helps me choose the best way to resolve the situation. Sometimes I think the people in my office try to come up with difficult problems just to see if they can stump me, usually they do not. That won\'t stop them from trying. Working through the intricacies of developing a complete marketing package allows me to express my creative side. There are many facets to putting together the whole package and the finished product gives me a strong sense of accomplishment. I try to be a glass half full type of person because when something unpleasant happens it usually could have been a lot worse. When I hear other people close to me analyze a situation and see that it turned out better than they thought, I feel like I am impacting them in a positive way. That is a great feeling to have. One of the greatest compliments I receive on a regular basis is \"How can you be so pleasant on the phone all the time\". An upbeat attitude makes people more comfortable and can diffuse a potentially trying situation with good initial contact.
