ABOUT KATHY CECIL-SANCHEZ
I am so lucky to have spent over 25 years working within the community colleges and look forward to what the next twenty years will bring. I began my teaching career as an adjunct English professor at Lone Star College-Tomball and once I was hired full-time thought that I would spend the rest of my career in the classroom. Through encouragement by my peers, and my personal interest, I began to take on leadership positions within the college. I served as Vice President of Instruction at Lone Star College-University Park, where each day I supported my faculty and staff to create the best educational experience possible for our students. By putting our efforts in helping \"just one more\" student succeed in our classes, we can have a significant positive impact on student success and completion.
