About Kathy Boe

Kathy Boe, Founder of Boecore (now Auria Space) is an entrepreneur and philanthropist with more than 30 years of engineering and leadership experience supporting both the Department of Defense and various non-profit organizations. Kathy currently serves as Founder and President of her family foundation which focuses on homelessness, mental health, education and community development. She also serves as Trustee for the El Pomar Foundation, the Pikes Peak Community Foundation, the Colorado Thirty Group and Auria Space (formerly Boecore). Under Kathy’s leadership, Boecore received numerous industry awards including the 2013, ‘Company of the Year’ from the Colorado Springs Regional Business Alliance, ten Top Supplier awards from Northrop Grumman and was a 2008 recipient of the Department of Defense Nunn-Perry Award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense. In 2013, Kathy received ‘Business Leader of the Year’ from the Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and was awarded ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in Colorado Springs in 2009. Boecore was named the 2021 top Defense company by the Colorado Springs Business Journal. Kathy previously served as Chair of the Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC in 2020. She was selected by the mayor and appointed by city council to be one of the initial board members to form the Colorado Springs Health Foundation where she served from 20••••20. She proudly served as an Honorary Air Force Academy Commander from 20••••22. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Pepperdine University.
