Lead the team responsible for the design and administration of Amazon’s anti-corruption and legal compliance and training program, including leading the annual risk assessment and compliance goal setting process; working with attorneys and business leaders throughout the organization to monitor, track, and help manage compliance and training goals; and coordinating with the company’s Risk Management, Internal Audit, HR, and Finance teams, both in the U.S. and overseas. Responsible for monitoring, supervising, and independently conducting internal investigations of fraud allegations and other potential legal and regulatory issues. Function as lead lawyer responsible for advising on and helping formulate Amazon’s information security policies and practices across all of the company’s business lines in the United States and internationally. Responsibilities include working closely with business leaders, legal professionals, and the public policy team to advise on all aspects of global data security laws and regulations, including data security and data breach regulations. Help guide the company’s long term strategy for protecting customer information across the company. Work closely with public policy and public relations teams to help explain company\'s positions regarding information security matters. Work with business leaders and law enforcement to pursue legal action against third parties who attempt to harm Amazon or its customers.
