About Katie Ray

Katie Ray is a strategic attorney with over seventeen years of legal experience, including dispute resolution and extensive experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements for complex construction, commercial, engineering, technology, manufacturing, and procurement work both domestically and internationally. Since November 2020, she’s served as Associate General Counsel at Brasfield & Gorrie, L.L.C, the best construction company on the planet.She has extensive experience working in-house prior to joining Brasfield & Gorrie. She was part of a very large legal department at Georgia Pacific and served as the sole in-house attorney at Yokogawa Corporation. In that role, she exercised responsibility for all legal department matters, including contracts, disputes, the intellectual property and insurance portfolios, the legal budget, and managing outside counsel. Katie graduated from the Honors Program at Boston College. Prior to law school, she served for three years as a permanent congressional staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives.
