ABOUT KATHRYN EVANS

After more than a decade in the nonprofit sector, I founded Rooted Strategy to provide support and encouragement to nonprofits, philanthropies, and networks. Rooted Strategy’s theory of change is simple: if you want to grow, start at the roots. We meet organizations where they are and partner with them to accomplish their goals by growing relationships, leadership, resources, and innovative ideas. My strengths (discovered and sharpened over the years and every day) include building resilient teams, telling powerful stories, and holding space for big shifts to happen in complex systems. I help people connect to themselves, to others, and to the present moment where incredible possibilities are waiting to be discovered.I am a dancer, a mother, a friend, a sister, a neighbor, a writer, and a co-creator of an equitable future. I do this work because I want to perpetuate goodness, and for people to have power to choose what they want out of this life. My hope is that all people will be liberated from the containers that define and constrain us, and that we will co-design a world that is worthy of our children. I\'m grateful to share this purpose with a beloved network of leaders, weavers, and teachers.
