I\'m a retail leasing attorney with over a decade of experience representing institutional landlords and developers. My practice focuses on helping clients navigate the complexities of retail leasing with a practical, solutions-oriented approach.I’ve handled a wide range of retail leasing matters - from national anchor deals to inline small shop leases - and I understand the importance of balancing legal precision with business strategy. I also have extensive experience in lease and title review, due diligence, and analysis, which allows me to support complex development and ground lease transactions.I take pride in being a steady, responsive partner and trusted ally who helps move deals forward efficiently while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.Clients value my ability to draft clearly, solve problems thoughtfully, and offer guidance that’s not just legally sound, but also commercially realistic. I aim to make the process collaborative, not adversarial. I stay current on retail leasing trends and emerging issues so I can better anticipate challenges, support my clients’ evolving needs, and offer proactive, strategic counsel.I regularly attend ICSC Law Vegas to support my clients and am a frequent speaker at the ICSC+ U.S. Law Conference and the ICSC+ OKIMP Law Symposium. I also serve on the planning committees for both conferences. I’m listed in Best Lawyers® for Real Estate Law (2024, 2025) and Ohio Super Lawyers for Real Estate (2025). Outside of my legal work, I serve on the board of Goods Bank NEO, a nonprofit focused on connecting community organizations with access to essential goods. When I’m not working, you can find me rowing on the Cuyahoga River, racing sailboats on Lake Erie, antiquing, or spending time with family
