ABOUT KATHRYN HING

Kathryn is the Head of design at Gorgias, the #1 helpdesk for SMBs. Prior to Gorgias, Kathryn was the HoD at Hier Foods making local and regional food accessible to all by connecting supermarkets and local farmers, and led the design team at IDAGIO; the world\'s leading classical streaming platform. Previous to that Kathryn\'s focus lay in the future of mobility. She\'s worked at COUP mobility Europe\'s e-scooter sharing platform as well as the Volkswagen Group in an in-house design agency digitalising & innovating the automotive Industry. She values design education and is an active member of the design community. She\'s built a community of over designers at IxDA Berlin, is a Mentor at Terra.do climate school, co-organises UX Bookclub Berlin, was a founding member of ResearchOps, is a coach at Berlin\'s Service Design Jam, and has been on the judging panel at Adobe\'s Creative Jams. She\'s also co-created Human-centered design (HCD) with philanthropic organisations such as India\'s SMV Wheels, and the Netherland\'s largest sharing economy platform Share NL. Her education spans across Australia, France and the Netherlands. She\'s completed a masters in Strategic Product Design Engineering at one of the world\'s top Strategic Design schools Delft University of Technology. She has an annotation in Entrepreneurship, won the Royal Haskoning DHV (First in Class), and received an honourable mention at the Crystal Cabin Awards for Excellence in the Aviation Industry.
